Business, Health and Life Goals 2022

I was going to make these three topics all different blog posts, but I didn’t want to go into full detail about each of these topics. Some of which I am not totally ready to talk about all of the details. So instead, I am going to write about all of these things in this one post.

When it comes to my business goals, my approach is the same. I am starting off slow, steady, and focusing on consistency. Last year, I had some really lofty goals with my business and I did not achieve any of them. So this year I am making my goals very simple as a kind of reoccurring theme for all of my goals this year. I want to focus on one or two aspects of where I want to grow and try to remain consistent with those things.

My health and life goals go together. I am continuing with simplifying and consistency. I want to do so many things in life, but I try to do them all and I get overwhelmed then do none of them. So in order to avoid that burnout feeling I am just prioritizing the things I want to implement into my daily life.

Blog

I really do enjoy researching and writing for my blog. So my focus is to focus on simplifying what I am posting and writing about what find interesting as well as being consistent about how often I post. The goal is one post a week. But if I am not inspired, I won’t stress it. I know that in order to grow I do need to be consistent with my posts, but I am going to write about what I want to. I am going to share my journey and my personal experience rather than post about trending topics.

The goal is to write one blog post each week about a topic that inspires me. This should come easy since I really enjoy doing research and writing. I love talking about how I live an active lifestyle. Living an active and healthy lifestyle is something I am passionate about. I want to be able to do all of the activities that I love even when I am old. I really do not want age to prevent me from doing anything.

Social Media

I tried to follow all of the different things everyone was saying about growing social media accounts. I tried to do it all at once and really didn’t have any results. I know with my niche Instagram will be the best platform to use to grow and share my content. Instagram is favoring accounts that post Reels, so my focus is to post several reels a week on a consistent basis.

Mental health

I struggle with anxiety and depression, so I want to work on bettering my mental health. Health and fitness is my go-to for my mental health, but it is not always enough. So working with my dr I hope to find a balance for my mental health. The idea of simplifying my approach toward a lot of the things I am doing will definitely help with my mental state. If I am working on simple tasks and keeping consistent, it will help me feel less stressed over doing too many things.

Nutrition & Fitness

I want to keep nutrition and fitness as my main form of self-care and continue to work toward my goals. For a more detailed post about my fitness goals, read my last post about my fitness goals. Overall, the overall goal is to create a daily habit and simplify my routine. I will work on a 6-week program and evaluate what to change every six weeks. Most of the time it will simply be increasing volume and weights while keeping my nutrition the same. After some time, I’ll evaluate my caloric intake and determine if I need to make any adjustments.

Self-care

I don’t have much that I do for self-care, which goes hand in hand with my mental health. Right now my biggest form of self-care is my skin-care routine. I am very consistent with my nightly skin-care routine and my weekday morning skin-care routine. I am working on getting more consistent with my weekend morning skin-care routine. It makes me feel good to take care of my skin and it gives me a little bit of time to spend to myself .

Another thing I am working on implementing into my self-care is to take a bath weekly. Not only will I get the opportunity to spend time for myself to relax and read, but also I can soak sore muscles as I continue to progress toward my fitness goals.

Reading

I love reading. I have ever since I was a kid. But as I got older I never made it a priority. So this past year I made it a goal to read more. I read a little bit more than I have in the past, but in the past several months I have read more books than I had all year. I fall asleep reading every day as well as read during my hour-long lunch break. I have really been enjoying reading more and just taking that time for myself. So my goal is to read a little bit every single day and I am hoping to read 16 books by the end of the year.

If you are here and reading this, which means you have an interest in your health and fitness. That is so good, I am so excited for you! Taking care of your body is literally the best thing you can do for yourself in the present as well as the long term.

I find that so inspiring. Hard work will pay off in the future, but you also have to live in the moment, and I feel like taking care of yourself is doing both. You are doing good for yourself now as well as for your future self.
