My Fitness Must Haves

Are you feeling overwhelmed by your fitness routine? I have compiled a list of my MUST-have items that I cannot live without for my workouts to feel effective. Sometimes adding something new can help you spice it up.

These things may seem like the most simple items, but to me, they are ESSENTIAL. I am super excited to share my must-haves with you. Let me know what your must-haves are!

Water bottle

I love having my water bottle. I have the Simple Modern 32oz double wall stainless steel water bottle. I try to drink at minimum 2-3 full bottles each day. I’ll add another full bottle when I work out. Having a bottle that keeps my water cold holds a lot of water. Not only does cold water taste better, but the large size means I will drink the water I need daily.

this water bottle is the one everyone is talking about on social media.

Leggings, Sports Bra, tank top, and shoes

Typically I like to keep my workout gear super simple. Many of my leggings, sports bras, and tank tops are Fabletics or Underarmour, but the links above are excellent too!

Preworkout

I know this one is not necessary for everyone. But I love how it gives me energy and helps me focus. This one tastes like Nerds candy from Alani Nu.

Creatine

There are MANY benefits to taking creatine. Your body naturally makes creatine in muscle tissue, but it uses it very quickly. Adding a creatine supplement allows your body to maintain muscle endurance and performance. I take creatine daily, and my fatigue and muscle endurance is lower. I often forget about it, so I take it in the one thing I drink daily, my coffee. Since the one linked above is flavorless, I can’t tell if it’s in my coffee.

Protein Powder

I don’t take protein powder daily, but it’s GREAT to have when adding extra protein. I need a higher protein intake for my fitness goals, so having protein powder on hand is helpful!

“Do something today your future self will thank you for.”

I find that quote so inspiring. Hard work will pay off in the future, but you also have to live in the moment, and I feel like taking care of yourself is doing both. You are doing good for yourself now as well as for your future self.
